Measuring the source - common questions
The questions firms ask most about attribution, recorded delivery and what an end-of-pilot review actually shows.
For attorneys and firm administrators. Injured people should not use this page.
If your question is not here, the criteria conversation is where it gets answered.
Question 01
What gets recorded for each inquiry?
What arrived, when, against which criteria it was screened, and what happened to it at your end - reached, consulted, signed or closed. The record is shared, so both sides are reading the same page.
Question 02
How is a source judged fairly?
By comparing conversion against criteria-met inquiries, with your response times alongside. A source judged without those two numbers is usually being credited or blamed for your intake, which is the mistake this page exists to prevent.
Question 03
What does the end-of-pilot review show?
Delivery against the written standard, contact and conversion figures, the disputes and their outcomes, and the resulting cost per qualifying inquiry and per signed matter. Then the decision - continue, adjust or stop - is made on that record.
Question 04
Can we keep the measurement if we stop?
Yes. The criteria document, the recorded record and the review method are yours. They work with any source, including the ones you already buy from.
Question 05
Why not just judge on signed matters?
Signed matters are the outcome, but they arrive too late to manage a pilot by. The intermediate rates - contact, consultation - tell you weekly whether the source or the desk is the constraint, while there is still time to act.
Question 06
What does this measurement cost?
It is part of how a pilot runs, not a separate product. Recording and review are written into the scope before delivery starts, and you see the full cost before approving anything.
