Privacy Notice

How we handle personal information from law firm contacts and from injured people who ask to be contacted by a participating firm.

01Who we are

Stark Meridian Croft is a lead generation business serving plaintiff-side MVA and workers’ compensation law firms. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and we do not represent injured people.

02Information we collect

From law firm contacts. Name, role, firm name, firm size, email, phone, service area, language capability, intake arrangements, and the criteria information you choose to share with us.

From injured people. Name, contact details, and preferred contact language and time. For motor vehicle accidents: accident date and location, a description of the vehicle and accident circumstances, injury and treatment information, and insurance-related screening answers where collected. For workers’ compensation: employment situation, a description of the work injury, the date given, claim status, and the county in which it occurred. In both cases, the person’s own description and whether they already have a lawyer. We collect a recorded consent to be contacted by a participating law firm.

Automatically. Standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring source, used to operate and improve the site and to measure advertising.

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, financial account details, or detailed medical records, and we ask people not to send them.

03How we use information

  • To respond to enquiries from law firms and to set up and operate a pilot.
  • To screen an inquiry against a participating firm’s written criteria and, where it passes, to deliver it to that firm.
  • To bill, to process credit requests, and to produce reporting.
  • To measure and improve advertising, and to meet our legal obligations.

04How we share information

An injured person’s inquiry is shared with the single participating law firm it is delivered to, and only where that person has asked to be contacted by a law firm. We do not sell personal information, and we do not resell a delivered inquiry to a second firm.

We share information with service providers who operate our systems under contract, and where required by law or legal process.

05Retention

We retain inquiry and delivery records for as long as needed to operate the service, resolve billing and credit questions, and meet legal obligations, and then delete or de-identify them.

06Your choices and rights

California residents may have rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to limit certain uses. To make a request, or to ask us to stop contacting you, email us at the address below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.

If a participating firm has already contacted you, that firm holds its own copy of your information and has its own obligations to you. Ask the firm directly about the information it holds.

07Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

08Children

The site is intended for adults. Inquiries involving a minor are handled under a separate agreed process with the participating firm.

09Changes and contact

We will post any changes on this page with a revised date. Questions about this notice and privacy requests can be sent to privacy@starkmeridiancroft.com.
