Exclusive delivery: questions answered
What exclusivity covers, what must be written down, and when a shared arrangement could exist.
← Return to Delivered to your firm, under agreed termsExclusivity is defined by territory, matter type, and duration-not left as an undefined sales claim.
01
Defining the scope
How qualification remains separate from the terms controlling where an inquiry is sent.
Does exclusivity change how inquiries are screened?
No. Screening runs to your agreed criteria either way. Exclusivity governs who the qualifying inquiry is delivered to, not how it qualified.
What does exclusivity actually cover?
Whatever the agreement states: named service area, matter types, and duration. The scope is written down before launch, not implied by the word “exclusive”.

Protecting the delivery
What exclusive delivery means in practice and how an out-of-scope delivery is handled.
Is a delivered inquiry ever sold to another firm?
Not under the default terms. Inquiries generated under your campaign are delivered to your firm only, within the agreed scope. Shared delivery exists only if your firm expressly agrees to it in advance.

Only by express agreement before launch, with the scope stated in writing. It is never the silent default, and it is never introduced mid-campaign.
What happens if an inquiry is delivered outside the agreed scope?
Raise it against the record. The delivery timestamp and qualification record show what was delivered and when, and the agreed terms apply.
