Is your intake ready for paid inquiries?
A screened inquiry loses value by the hour. A short readiness check before your firm pays for the first one.
Speed is the whole game
A screened inquiry is perishable. The person behind it is comparing options right now, and the firm that responds first with a competent, respectful conversation has an advantage no screening standard can create for you.
Before buying inquiries, know who answers, within what window, on which days - including what happens after hours and in the languages your market actually speaks.
Write your side of the process down
Define internally what happens in the first five minutes, the first hour, and the first day. Who logs the contact, who calls back, what gets said, and what happens when the person does not answer.
This is not bureaucracy. It is how you learn whether the inquiries or the follow-up are the constraint - which decides whether buying more inquiries is the right next move at all.
Measure honestly
Track contact rate, evaluation rate, and retention rate separately. Each one has a different owner and a different fix. Blending them into a single number hides the problem and usually gets blamed on the provider.
A good provider will help you read these numbers, because a firm that understands its own funnel is a firm that stays.
Next step
If your firm wants inquiries screened against criteria you set, start with the criteria conversation. Thirty minutes, nothing billed.
